Half time report.

                           

Well with half a season gone things are going better than planned.

With only 2 players surviving from the previous manager I was expecting a tough season with so many changes made.

Things have been so much better than expected with us joint top of the league with mr Linder and is palace lads. Carlos Bacca and hazard were the 2 big signings for the club.and they have proved there pedigree as they have helped score just shy of half our goals this season.with 20 goals between then out of the 42 we have scored so far this season. Only Barcelona have scored more than us on 43. 

Arguably the biggest problem at the moment is trying to hold onto out top defender in Christian lenglet. With many enquiries and bids it's yet to be seen if we can hold onto him or if he will in fact move on to play for one of is many admirers.

So far so good in our quest to be promoted back to division 3. If hazard and Bacca can keep providing goals and assists im sure we can at least secure a play off place. But at this time a top 3 place should be the aim.

I'm well aware of how good the competition is in division 4 and will not let the boys take there foot of the gas. Just a couple of defeats could end up with us having to ride the luck in the play offs.and with my shocking record in the play offs I'd rather not take that route.
