               olympiacos manager review!!

after a in different pre season with 1 win 2 draws and 2 losses the season finally got underway with a 2-1 loss to feyernoord with dodo being sent of on his debut for the club.we arguably deserved a draw but it wasn't to be. this has been followed up by 3 wins including one in the youth cup.which was also my very fist win in the youth cup.

we seem to have started very slowly this season and could easily have lost all of our league games.but we have managed to scrape 2 0ne Nil wins to put us in the top 3 at this early stage. its guna take time to gel as a team as only 4 players from the previous regime are still first choice. the lads are working as hard as they can and I'm sure we will be a better side by the end of the season but i must stress to the fans they will have to be patient as the players get  use to each other and the new formation under me.

On Thursday we take on river plate at the georgios karaiskakis stadium  in what we hope will be our first win at home in front of our fans

with both ourselves and river plate not scoring much so far with only 5 goals between us.I'm expecting another close fought game and another possible 1 Nil win either way.

my biggest gamble is arguably on the young shoulders of timo Werner currently on loan from DP 91s juventus. this lad had no appearance's in season 3 and is now being asked to play every week and provide that little magic in the close games to get us the win.

timo Werner said"its very hard to get up to speed after not playing much football.but i feel better everyday that i train if i can play my part in helping this side get promotion which is the aim then I'm sure juventus and dp will have to consider me as a starter next season if not sooner".

our season will all depend on players like Werner playing to there potential.i want a team who works hard for each other and I'm sure this will come across this season. As we hope the georgios karaiskakis stadium will become a fortress and will be the backbone to many event full nights.
