The first semi final saw a hapless dirty fouling Italian side cut down to size by the silky smooth Spanish machine. After the 20th minute goal Italy had no answer  Balotelli was as usual the main culprit missing an absolute sitter in the 68 minute. With no fire power DE GEA was able to cook a Paella and serve it up to his adoring fans.

Balotelli skulked off at the end of the game and drove off with Italian manager, never to be seen again in the Italian national colours.
