Play Off Permutations & Predictions Part Three

Following on from yesterday's Division 2 & 3 articles I focus on Division 4. Very similar to Division 3 it's almost to hard to call with just 4 points separating 1st to 8th place. Once again feel free to shout in my face if I get your teams prediction totally wrong. Teams from 1st to 8th are covered, apologies to those I have missed

Division 4

Malaga currently sit top of the league with a 2 point cushion. Greg Billington's side head into the run in facing almost relegated Celta Vigo, then fellow promotion rivals SC Internacional and AZ in a crucial double header, before games against Espanyol and Cologne. Fans of Los Boquerones will be confident their side can see out these games and secure automatic promotion
Prediction Malaga to beat Celta Vigo and Espanyol, draws in their remaining games see them pick up 9 points and finish in 1st place

Southampton the Saints approach the final straight on the back of 2 wins and a draw and manager Mike Scallotti will be hoping his side can pick up enough points to avoid the play offs. Scallotti will be looking to star players Tardelli (10 assists this season) and Mane (8 man of the match awards) to inspire the Saints to glory
Prediction Southampton to beat River Plate and Celta Vigo, draw with Moskva and SC Inter but lose to Dnipro to condemn The Saints to the play offs and finish in 4th place
Sadio Mane
SC Internacional Robert Downinho's men come off the back of 4 league draws and certainly face the toughest run in of all the promotion hopefuls. Four of their final 5 games are against top seven sides and Downinho will certainly be hoping his talisman Duarte Bernard (14 assists) will inspire The Colorado's to glory.
Prediction SC Inter to go the remaining 5 games unbeaten with a win against Cologne, but draws with AZ, Malaga, Atalanta and Southampton see them slip into the play offs and finish in 7th place

Duarte Bernard
Genoa sit in 4th place on the back of 3 straight defeats. manager and Gameworld big boss man Frank Hirst will be no doubt pinning his hopes on star player Ciro Immobile to add to his 17 goals and 12 man of the match awards. Fans of the Rossoblu will no doubt be praying that the enigmatic Stephen El Shaaraway with 13 assists turns on the style to add his tally and not the temper to add to his 3 red cards this season.
Prediction Genoa to regain form at the right time and pick up 3 wins against Levante, Chievo and West Brom. Coupled with draws against Westham and Udinese I predict 11 points bagged to finish in 2nd place

Ciro Immobile
AZ the humorously nicknamed Cheeseheads lay in 5th place. They are the divisions leading scorers and hold the best goal difference which may well prove crucial come the end of season. Manager Bela Guttman will be looking to the divisions top keeper Benoit Costil with 8 man of the match awards and influential veteran Dirk Kuyt also with 8 man of the match
awards to inspire his team to glory. 3 big games against SC Internacional, Malaga and Atalanta will define their destiny with Espanyol and Cologne being the other games
Prediction draws with SC Internacional and, Malaga plus wins against Espanyol and Atalanta gloss over a Cologne defeat to pick up 8 points and finish in 6th position (on goal difference)

The Cheeseheads (order your size hat here)
Dynamo Moskva Sherief Razzaque's Dinamiki stride confidently into the final straight on
the back of an 8 game unbeaten run. (5/3/0) The division's top scorers have games against Cologne, Montpellier and Levante with tough games against Atalanta and Southampton sandwiched between them. This solid well managed team will take some beating.
Prediction Moskva to storm to 3 wins against Cologne, Montpellier and Levante, draws with SC Internacional and Malaga see them pick up 11 points and rise to finish in 3rd place

Atalanta La Dea managed by Sean Cass head into the run in with a 1-0-2 record. Casses team boast two dangerous players with Moralez on 13 goals and Mehmedi on 18 assists. La Dea fans will be hoping these two can inspire their team to as many points as possible with games against Dynamo Moskva, Sc Internacional, AZ, River Plate and Celtic
Prediction a win against Celta and draws against Moskva and SC Internacional will not be enough as defeats to River Plate and AZ condemn Atalanta to finish in 8th place

Admir Mehmedi
Torino the Italians sit just outside the play offs in 8th place with a recent record of 1-0-2. Il Toro fans will be hoping their side can bulldoze their way to glory. Manager Michael Hudson must surely be confident with 4 of their final games being against sides laying 11th or lower in the table.
Prediction wins against Chievo and Espanyol plus draws with WBA, Westham and Udinese see Torino rise to the occasion when it matters and pick up 11 points to finish in 5th place

So to recap and place everything nicely in order my predictions on the final standings are

1) Malaga
2) Genoa
3) Dynamo Moskva

4) Southampton
5) Torino
6) AZ
7) SC Internacional

8) Atalanta
