Besiktas manager speaks ahead of new season 

Its been less than a week since prince of Persia agreed terms to manage beskitas. And it seems the manager hasn't taken very long to overhaul the squad which finished a respectable 11th last season.A massive 11 players have been brought into the club.with experience being the criteria by the looks of the managers signings already with the likes of jonas and and David villa being just some of the new players besiktas have signed. The prince of Persia recently spoke to the media at the training ground and was asked about is plans for besiktas. 

Q.WHY HAVE YOU BOUGHT SO MANY PLAYERS FOR A TEAM WHICH WAS COMFORTABLE IN THE LEAGUE LAST SEASON.

P. as any manager will tell you we all like different players and its no different with me. i felt the players i had at my disposal from the previous regime wouldn't fit into the way i wanted to play this season. Therefore i needed a overhaul of the squad in the hope this will push the team into play off contenders.

Q WILL THIS BE IT FOR SIGNINGS OR ARE THERE PLANS TO SIGN MORE.

P. yes they will be more signings. but i cant say how many will be signed but i can say my hope is to sign 3 or 4 more players before the start of the season.

Q.WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE RIVALRY NEXT SEASON WITH GALATASARAY.

P.well kun al as gone in there and done more signings than i ever did. but i'm now besiktas manager and i don't plan on letting galatasaray be the number 1 Turkish team.This is part of my personal target to make sure we are the number 1 team and ill make sure all my new signings are aware of the rivalry.I have 2 targets as a club and that's to get promoted and make sure we finish above the enemy.
