Juventus are delighted to announce the signing of German international centre back Mats Hummels this morning. The 27 year old will team up with fellow Germans; Christoph Kramer, Patrick Herrmann, Leroy Sane, Jonathan Tah, Davie Selke, Arianit Ferati & Lucas Boeder whom have all arrived since DP was appointed as Juve head coach during the creation of footballs elite Top 100 competition.
DP spoke briefly upon the transfer this morning "It was a great shame to see Giorgio move on to pastures new after an illustrious career in Turin & he will always be welcome here. William was here for a short time but proved he was of Juventus quality & it is also a shame to see him leave after his short stay but the arrival of Mats is huge for Juventus & further see's the future of Juve's defence placed well & truly in good hands. There were many clubs interested in Mats & it was a great transfer for the club to complete in regards to getting one over our rivals."
Hummels is likely to have an instant chance of silverware tonight as his new side play the 2nd leg of the Pavarotti Cup final against Napoli, a tie they go into with a 1-0 advantage.
Good deal for both
