Antoine Arrives!
Juventus are delighted to announce the arrival of Antoine Griezmann to Turin tonight in a deal that gaffer DP has hailed as a real statement of intent from the club.
"Antoine has displayed tremendous talent so far in his career & at the age of 24 he has the world at his feet. He has showed that he is capable of playing in a vast array of positions to which he dominates opponents across the board but I believe we'll be seeing him adapt a trequartisa role with Paulo leading the line more often than not. I have absolutely no doubt that he will slot right in amongst the team whom all have that winning mentality that Juve is built upon."
In a busy night for Valencia, the club whom Griezmann is departing, they have additionally announced a further departure as David Senior puts his stamp upon the squad in their bid to move out of the relegation zone. Alvaro Morata & Roberto Pereyra will be linking up with Senior at the Mestella, Juventus wish them all the best for the future.
Antoine himself commented on the move.
"I'm delighted to be moving to a club fighting for the Top 100 title this season & to be working under DP whom was a big factor in the move. I had spoken to Paul & Kingsley about life in Italy & I'm excited for the move as well as to link up with my compatriots along with Mouez. I hope to repay the faith Juventus have shown me in their pursuit & I can't wait to play in front of the Old Lady faithful."
