Juventus today swooped for rising star Jonathan Tah, captain of the Germany U19 side a favourite of national first team coach Joachim Low, one of many managers whom has tipped the lad born & raised in Hamburg to reach the pinnacle of defensive capabilities within his career which now at 20 years of age has only just begun.
Some say that Tah is but a German version of the tipped rising star John Stones whom recently moved from the grasps of Real Madrid down the road & into the clutches of The Doctor & his ever youthful vision for Atletico Madrid but Juve gaffer DP states otherwise.
" Tah is a very accomplished defender whom has yet to get the spotlight that those whom have played previously in England get. Since the formation of the Top 100, Tah moved from Leverkusen to River Plate where under the stewardship of Romanian manager Secasiu Calin-Mihai he has developed well but quietly for the Division 4 side. Whilst the aforementioned Stones has continued to get the spotlight from Division 1's bumper television rights you'll quickly come to find that the thing Tah is better than Stones at is defending which I'm sure most managers would hope to find in a central defender... "
Juventus gaffer - DP
A defender himself in his playing days it's been no surprise that DP has looked to secure the future at Juve by finding long term replacements for world class defenders Chiellini, Bonucci & Barzagli & in now brining in Tah alongside fellow signing for his first week in charge, Jairo Riedewald, Daniele Rugani can rest assured that he is in good company whether he break into DP's first team squad sooner or later.
The future certainly looks black & white with Juve's acquisitions in the past month including the likes of Davie Selke & Leroy Sane in the U21 squad whilst Elseid Hysaj (21), Ricardo Rodriguez (23) & Julian Korb (23) have instantly seen first team football.
Perhaps a questionable time for Juventus to have sold the likes of Mario Mandzukic, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang & Josip Ilicic among others recently departing Juventus Stadium especially with the early league form but DP is confident that Juventus can continue to challenge in Season 2 despite recent changes to the squad.
" Everyone is keen to see Roy & his oversized head fall short of D1 glory this season in Top 100 & the somewhat recent upheaval in the dressing room recently has lead to questions of Juventus' chances of preventing such a tragedy this season but I can assure you that those brought into the club recently have only improved cohesion amongst both the first team & youth team squads & we're the better for it.
The only experienced head this club needs is a leader like Gigi! "
