Gursimran Brar refuses to discuss Bayern transfer targets

Gursimran Brar has refused to be drawn on Bayern Munich's transfer targets and insists he will be happy with his squad if he fails to sign another player this season.

The SMFA Cup Winners have had four bids rejected by Genoa for goal-keeper Mattia Perin and have been heavily linked with a big money move for James McCarthy.

Mattia Perin attempted to force a move by refusing to play in the 2nd round fixture against Liverpool. However, he played to avoid ant contract dispute but made his feelings about the club keeping him against his will clear by allowing an easy goal to creep in. Its a game which would really disappoint the Manager Frank Hirst as despite dominating the game for large portions, Perin's error or voluntary actions cost him.

Speaking to the media the manager Frank Hirst said, he is a young kid and obviously when you are linked with a club of the magnitude of Bayern it can turn your head but i shall convince him Genoa is the right place for his development.

But, Perin who plays for Genoa said, there were issues to settle before playing the next game for the club.'There is a detail that is not resolved and while it is not settled, I will not play at a 100%.

Gursimran Brar refused to be drawn into comments on the issue. He said, i would take questions on our emphatic cup victory over Anderlecht or any of our players. 'I don't speak about players from other teams'.
"I have a good squad.I'm happy with the squad I have.If i get another player in the near future, great. If not,we go with what we have."

Responding to questions on Bayern having a deal with Mattia Perin he said,  Bayern have no such agreement with Perin or any other player, we would first agree a fee with a club and then approach a player.
