After an encouraging opening day, Man cuty were unlucky not to win midweek. Manager Will Trafford had this to say "don't get me wrong, they are a decent outfit. But we need to be winning those games, need to be picking up 3 points a week. Only Real won both games, shows how competitive this is. But we need to get points on the board."
Asked about the transfer situation he added "tough isn't it. We have done well to get Rambo and Stranzl in. One for quality and one for depth. I do get annoyed by these buggers trying to give me cash though. Got a pile of it at the mo and so no matter how many times they offer cash for Khedira, it ain't working."
