New signings (and more)!

6 new signings made their way to Aston Villa yesterday. They are talked about below.

Robert Hodorogea, the Romanian, joined us from Viitorul Constanta with Tommie Hoban and Riccardo Calder going the other way. 82-rated and 20 years of age, he will fit well into our youth team for seasons to come. 

Martin Ollson, the Swede, arrived from Norwich City for a cheap 2.7 mil.  Our rotation left-back to Aly Cissokho, we hope he will provide solidity at the back. 86-rated and still 27 years of age, he still has something to offer.

Per Bratveit, a rising Norwegian keeper, came in from FK Haugesund with Ander Bardarji going the other way, and being a direct replacement and improvement, he will be our back-up keeper to Guzan and the keeper for the youth team. A detailed report can be found on him here:

Declan John is a promising left-back, who joined from Cardiff City with 860k, Lewis Kinsella and Kevin Toner going the other way. He is a direct replacement and improvement on Kinsella in the youth team. A detailed scout report can be found  on him here:

Lamine Koné is a fairly decent defender who came in from Lorient for a cheap 3 mil. 26-years of age and 86 rated, he will be a good rotation centre-back. 

Lastly, Alberto Lora, who came in from Sporting Gijón for 3.8 mil, will be our starting right-back for the first team.

More signings are to come. At least one centre-back and two forwards are to come. A deal for Connor Wickham has been confirmed with Hertha BSC for 5 million, and will be talked about in a later post. Rudy Gestede, is one player who will be leaving today for external for around 2 million. We may look to bring in improvements on some of our players, as well as selling off Hutton, Richardson and Bacuna.
